Job Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your role will involve leading a team of software developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will apply your technical knowledge, methodologies, and best practices to support clients and ensure their satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform independently and become an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
- Lead the team of software developers, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and define the project scope.
- Design, develop, and test software systems according to client specifications.
- Manage and prioritize project tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them grow and improve their skills.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices across the development team.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to apply the best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience in designing and implementing data migration strategies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with data quality management and data governance.
- Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects suite and related tools.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Life Sciences.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP Business Objects Data Services.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
