Position Overview

The Autodesk Publishing Platform team builds the core services and tooling that power automated software publishing, release workflows, and deployment at scale. Our platform is critical to ensuring consistent, secure, and reliable software delivery across multiple product lines. As part of the APP team, you'll work on highly visible systems used by internal engineering teams globally and help shape the future of how we deliver products at Autodesk speed and scale. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.


You'll be responsible for building user-centric features using modern frameworks like Next.js, React and TypeScript, while also contributing to our Python-based back-end services. You should be passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be part of a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, building, owning and delivering various components, services and frameworks, while collaborating with teams across multiple locations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using Next.js, React and TypeScript

  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver rich, interactive user experiences

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stack

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Python

  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability

  • Continuously improve our development processes and tools

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field

  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience

  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript and modern front-end development practices

  • Solid experience with Python and back-end frameworks

  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web architecture

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to mobile app publishing workflows (App Store, Google Play, signing, deployment automation) is a plus

  • Proficiency in writing automated tests, especially end-to-end tests with Cypress

  • Experience with front-end testing tools and frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
