Role Description
- Contribute to robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend and mobile applications using Playwright
- Lead test reviews, author and execute test cases
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to solve complex system-level problems
- Advocate and champion quality coding standards and engineering best practices
- Analyze business requirements and communicate design & test impact
- Work closely with senior developers to understand upcoming features and plan QA activities
- Partner with business teams to understand real-world use cases and ensure strong test coverage
- Continuously monitor customer experience breakages and provide proactive quality inputs
- Research new test tools, methodologies, and industry trends to improve QA processes
- Own and ensure the final quality of product releases
- Build internal tools to improve team productivity
Qualifications
- BE / BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in software development & testing
- Strong programming skills in Golang (preferred) / Java / Python
- Experience with WebdriverIO or similar automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Playwright
- Passionate about automation and test engineering
- Experience with web services (REST, SOAP, Postman)
- Hands-on experience with Linux / Ubuntu
- Good understanding of CI/CD processes and related tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter who takes ownership and pride in their work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for testing, system design, and development
- Ability to stay current with rapidly changing technologies
- Good knowledge of infrastructure and tooling
- Ability to build or evolve test frameworks based on future needs
