Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled AWS Cloud SDET to join our QA Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure for our cloud-based systems hosted on AWS. You'll collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Role expectations

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and test suites for cloud-based applications and services.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines in AWS environments.
  • Develop automated integration, API, performance, and security tests.
  • Identify, analyze, and document bugs, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues in lower and production environments.
  • Contribute to quality best practices, tooling improvements, and test coverage expansion.
  • Participate in code reviews, test strategy discussions, and sprint planning activities.
  • Have a good Hands-on on Behave test framework and TM4J.

Required Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • 24 years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Autoscaling, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and integration testing practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies: unit, integration, system, regression, performance, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • ISTQB or AWS certification is a plus.
