Software Development Engineer III

Key Deliverables:

• Design and implement scalable, resilient backend systems using Java 13+ and Spring Boot
• Develop distributed systems and reactive architectures leveraging Kafka and cloud technologies
• Ensure high-quality code delivery by adhering to modern DevOps, CI/CD, and security practices
• Collaborate in agile environments to enhance Tesco's retail technology platform

Role Responsibilities:

• Apply system design principles to deliver performant backend services
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to manage high-volume data pipelines
• Integrate cloud solutions (e.g. Azure) to support scalable microservices
• Participate in sprints and lead development best practices using Scrum/Kanban
