Software Engineer III ADC
We are looking for a
Software Engineer IIIto build andmaintainthe networking control-plane that connects services and workloads across our cloud platform. You will contribute to production systems that manage
routing, connectivity, and configurationacross clusters and environments.
WhatYou'llDo- Develop andmaintaincontrol-plane and backend servicesfor routing and network connectivity.
- Implementfeatures and fixesrelated to traffic routing, configuration, and service connectivity.
- Keepnetwork state and configurationin syncas systems change.
- Improvereliability and availabilityof networking services.
- Writeunit and integration testsfor your code.
- Addlogging and metricsto support troubleshooting.
- Participateincode reviewsand day-to-day engineering execution.
- Help diagnose and resolveproduction issues.
What You Bring- Experience buildingbackend or infrastructure softwareusing C++, Go.
- Deep understanding of Envoy. Familiarity with its codebase is preferrable.
- Understanding ofbasic networking conceptssuch as IP addressing, routing, and connectivity.
- Experience working withmicroservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity withLinux, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Ability todebug and fix issuesin production systems.
Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
