Software Development Engineer

What You Will Do

1. Innovate and build on Adobe's solutions within the ServiceNow platform
2. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify improvement areas, and implement scalable solutions
3. Ensure developed solutions align with business needs and deliver expected outcomes
4. Improve continuous integration processes for cloud deployment tools and Adobe's products
5. Design integration points with sales, support, operations, and monitoring teams
6. Rapidly prototype and validate new ideas and concepts
7. Evaluate tools and platforms, provide recommendations, and lead implementation planning
8. Define and implement coding and configuration management standards across cloud providers, data centers, and non-hosted environments
9. Conduct design sessions, perform code reviews, document features, and enhance automated testing frameworks
10. Collaborate closely with design, product, support, and QA teams (onshore and offshore)
11. Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to different technology stacks as required

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6–8 years of experience with a strong focus on ServiceNow platform development and administration
• In-depth knowledge of core ServiceNow modules and components
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and data formats such as XML and JSON
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XSL, and automation scripting; strong understanding of OOP principles
• Added advantage if experienced with Linux/Windows environments, web servers, middleware, DevOps tools, and public cloud services like AWS or Azure
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
• Flexible, self-motivated, and effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Passion for innovation, process efficiency, and delivering high-quality solutions
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders to determine acceptable, business-aligned solutions
