Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Laravel and NestJS
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
- Develop and manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Laravel Framework (PHP)
- NestJS (Node.js framework)
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts
- Strong knowledge of:
- MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Redis / Caching mechanisms
- Queue systems (Laravel Queues, Bull, etc.)
- Experience with:
- Git version control
- Docker (preferred)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of microservices architecture (preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS / DigitalOcean / Azure is a plus
- Understanding of security best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React / Vue / Angular)
- Experience in SaaS product development
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
