Software Developer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer II to join Cradlepoint. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing various networking features for our Private Cellular Network (PCN) product line. You will implement high-performance networking solutions using DPDK, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovative advancements in networking technology.

What You Will Do:

• Design and develop various networking features for the PCN (Private Cellular Network) product line.
• Implement high-performance networking solutions using DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit), ensuring efficient data plane processing and low-latency communication.
• Work with Product Owners to understand and fine-tune requirements.
• Work closely with the service team, including hardware engineers, software developers, and QA teams to deliver robust networking solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex networking issues, collaborating with support and operations teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, introducing innovative solutions to improve networking performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, or Golang.
• Experience with Docker, VMs, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.

The Skills You Bring:

• Experience in LTE/5G Core.
• Experience in the Security domain, including IPSec.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python.
