Your Role And Responsibilities
A Developer is a key role in the growing and dynamic IBM Software organization. As a developer you will be focused on development and support of enterprise products and interfacing with product management, development teams across locations, and end users, to solve complex problems. You may have leadership responsibility of tracking work for 1 or more people and giving them technical direction.
You will be part of a strong, modern team culture driven to create world-class development and deployment environments, delivering an industry leading user experience for our customers. Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- 2+ years of experience. - Understanding and good working experience on Java, J2EE, Microprofile, Kubernetes, Python, shell scripting - Linux troubleshooting skills - Able to diagnose, isolate and perform problem resolution in complex system. - Working knowledge on REST/microservices architecture - Understanding on Networking, Compute and Database - Design applications, write code, test, debug and maintain Software Applications across various platforms and technologies. - Individual will be required to provide Production 24/7 coverage (if required) and support weekend implementations. - Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation - Excellent Communication skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required - The ability to work as part of a group and as well as independently
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Working knowledge on Advanced Java programming, Tekton(CI/CD pipelines), Ansible - Experience working with Enterprise Java run-time environments - Experience working on any SaaS platform ( IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc) - Experience on ui technologies like React, Carbon Design System (UI Material), Node.js, HTML5, CSS would be a plus
