Software Developer For NFS

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development

• Design, develop, and enhance NFS-related features in IBM storage solutions.
• Develop, debug, and test software using C and C++, with Python or other scripting languages as needed.
• Take ownership of assigned features, evaluating requirements, identifying dependencies, and executing development tasks.

System & Protocol Expertise

• Apply strong knowledge of NFS and kernel-level development.
• Work with enterprise-grade NAS/SDS solutions and storage protocols.
• Implement storage features such as High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Replication, and Snapshot technologies.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with QA teams to define test requirements and support integration.
• Debug complex issues across multiple modules and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with clients, L3 support teams, and global teams to resolve field issues.
• Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay updated on containerization (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kubernetes operators) and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Contribute to improvements in storage software design, testing, and deployment.
