Overview:
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be an integral part of our software development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable web applications built with Python and the Django framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet our business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Python code to support mobile applications using Django, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Clickhouse, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product management and UX/UI teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimise application performance and scalability through continuous improvement and refactoring of code.
- Work on troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure a smooth deployment process.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the team's productivity and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- 2- 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong proficiency in Python. Good to have knowledge of Django, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes framework.
- Experience with database systems like SQL, PostgreSQL, or non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- The FRND team operates on alternate Saturdays, with the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month as working days.
