Job Description

As a core member of the GoldenGate test and tools development engineering group, you will move beyond traditional software testing. You will design and implement sophisticated, cloud-native testing frameworks that ensure OGG remains the gold standard for real-time data integration. Your role is at the intersection of various relational databases, Cloud Infrastructure, Big Data, AI, LLMs and Agentic Frameworks including AI Agents, where you will build intelligent tools to predict failures and automate the validation of complex data pipelines.

Core Focus Areas

  • Multicloud, Databases, & Big Data Ecosystems:Validate OGG's performance and reliability across a hybrid landscape. You will ensure seamless data movement between on-premise systems and cloud giants like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as massive data lakes using Hadoop and Spark.
  • AI-Driven Engineering:Bridge the gap between testing and AI. You willleverage AI, LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, and AI Agents to dynamically generate test cases, optimize execution suites, and utilize predictive analytics to identify bottlenecks before they reach production.
  • Architectural Innovation:Don't just find bugs-prevent them. You will innovate strategies to streamline the CI/CD pipeline, reducing cycle times while simultaneously increasing code coverage and system resilience.

We are looking for Engineers with

  • Education:A degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Mindset:A tools-first developer who prefers building automated solutions over manual repetition.
  • Technical Interest:Curiosity about application of AI, distributed systems, non-Oracle databases, and data replication in software engineering.
