Job Description

The Software Development Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of networking and systems software. This role involves coding, testing, and debugging enhancements for software subsystems, working within defined guidelines, and collaborating with internal and outsourced development partners to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development

  • Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
  • Apply understanding of software systems design tools and languages to develop solutions for multiple platform types.

Testing & Debugging

  • Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code.
  • Identify, log, and debug issues in software subsystems.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Participate as a member of project teams with internal engineers and outsourced partners to develop high-quality, cost-effective solutions for low- to moderately-complex products.
  • Build relationships with internal and outsourced development partners to support software system design and development.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 02 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of software systems design, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for software development tasks.
