Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of software licenses, contracts, entitlements, and deployments in systems such as ServiceNow SAM.
- Monitor software usage to identify compliance gaps, overlicensing, and savings opportunities, supporting cost optimization and entitlement management.
- Support software audits by preparing data, coordinating with Software Title Owners, Procurement, Finance, and Architecture teams, and ensuring auditreadiness.
- Assist in managing the software title roadmap, including lifecycle updates, renewals, and alignment with business and architecture standards.
- Partner with Business Operations/Finance to support accurate forecasting and spend management activities.
- Help enforce software governance by validating requests, ensuring alignment with approved product lists, and escalating exceptions as needed.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into compliance posture, asset health, and optimization insights.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to remediate unlicensed installs and maintain accurate discovery data.
Qualifications
- Experience with Software Asset Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow SAM).
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Familiarity with software licensing models, compliance requirements, and vendor terms.
- Ability to coordinate across crossfunctional teams including Procurement, Architecture, Finance, and IT Operations.
