Software Architect

Responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of complex software systems, including operating systems, networking, databases, and Internet-related tools. Provides technical leadership, drives innovation, and ensures high-quality, reliable solutions across diverse platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Guidance:

• Provide guidance and leadership to design and develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned systems or subsystems.
• Advise teams on handling high-risk technical challenges and provide actionable feedback.
• Mentor engineers to promote software design excellence, innovation, and best practices.

Design & Architecture:

• Analyze and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, and network concerns.
• Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards.
• Identify and evaluate new technology innovations; plan their integration into existing architectures.

Innovation & Business Alignment:

• Apply in-depth knowledge and innovative principles to solve complex problems.
• Contribute to patents, deployed solutions, or other innovations in software design.
• Align technical contributions with business value, product strategy, and technology roadmaps.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Communicate product architectures, design proposals, and technical options effectively at business unit and executive levels.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• 1015 years of relevant experience in software systems development.
• Proven track record in software systems design, integration, and innovation.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across platforms.
• Proficient in cloud-based security concepts including IAM, firewalls, VPNs, and in-plane switching systems.
• Demonstrated history of innovation, patents, or deployed solutions.
