Soft Skills Trainer (Training Partner / Part-Time)

A Soft Skills Trainer is responsible for enhancing the behavioral and interpersonal competencies of the students enrolled for College Excellence Program / CAT P with the partner institutions

Students to improve their employability and workplace performance after the training. This role focuses on delivering high-impact sessions that bridge the gap between technical knowledge and professional execution and the behavioural aspects required at workplace. Students should be able to see an improvement in communication skills, soft skills and interview skills apart from other behavioural skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging workshops on topics including Business Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Time Management, Leadership, and Conflict Resolution.
  • Content Customization: Adapt existing modules to meet the specific needs of diverse groups, ensuring the material is relevant to current industry standards.
  • Assessments & Feedback: Conduct pre- and post-training evaluations to measure learning outcomes and provide constructive, actionable feedback to participants.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with institutional heads or HR managers to align training goals with organizational or academic objectives.
  • Methodology Innovation: Utilize a mix of role-plays, case studies, gamification, and digital tools to maintain high engagement levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written command of the language, with the ability to simplify complex behavioral concepts.
  • Public Speaking: Proven ability to command a room and manage group dynamics effectively, whether in-person or via virtual platforms.
  • Educational Background: A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Professional certifications in communication skill development will be an added advantage
  • Industry Knowledge: An understanding of corporate culture and the employability gap faced by fresh graduates or mid-level professionals.

Preferred Experience

Experience - 5+ years of experience in corporate training or academic skill-building with colleges or universities

Specialization - Experience in mentoring and soft skill training for students and corporates

Digital Savvy - Proficiency in using LMS platforms and virtual classroom tools (ERP, Academic delivery platforms, etc

Position Type: Freelancer

Remuneration: 500 1000 per hour (based on interview evaluation)
