Job Description

Job Role: Soft Skills Trainer (Part-Time)

Location: EduBridge Learning Center (travel to nearby colleges as required)

Mode: In Person (6 days working with fixed Sunday, as per batch schedule)

Engagement Type: Part-Time / Hourly Basis

Remuneration: 400 600 per hour (based on experience and session scope)

Reporting to: Training Excellence Manager

About The Role

We are seeking a Soft Skills Trainer to deliver employability-focused training programs at the EduBridge Learning Center and partner colleges. The trainer will focus on enhancing learners communication, professional behavior, and interview readiness to improve overall employability outcomes.

The ideal candidate should be engaging, learner-centric, and capable of driving measurable improvements in confidence, articulation, and workplace readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver soft skills training on communication skills, group discussions (GD), personal interviews (PI), resume building, and personal branding.
  • Conduct mock interviews, role plays, presentations, and interactive practice sessions.
  • Mentor learners to improve confidence, articulation, body language, and workplace behavior.
  • Track learner progress and provide structured, actionable feedback.
  • Maintain basic training records and learner progress reports.
  • Coordinate closely with program, training, and placement teams to align sessions with placement requirements.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in soft skills, employability, or professional skills training.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to engage diverse learner groups using interactive training methodologies.
  • Comfortable delivering sessions using classroom AV tools and digital presentation aids.
  • Willingness to travel to nearby colleges as per program requirements.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching approach with learners.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience working with freshers or early-career learners.
  • Exposure to skill development, EdTech, or vocational training programs.
  • Certification in soft skills, communication, or behavioral training (added advantage).
  • Passion for teaching and learner development.
