Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Soft Skill Trainer (AI-Aware Employability Training) based in Coimbatore. Trainers will work closely with learners from diverse backgrounds, preparing them for professional success in various industries.

The Soft Skill Trainer will deliver soft skills and employability training to underprivileged youth, with an added focus on AI awareness and workplace readiness in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The role involves training delivery, student mentoring, interview preparation, and placement support.

Roles & Responsibilities

Training & Classroom Delivery

• Deliver training on soft skills, behavioral skills, communication, professional etiquette, and work readiness.
• Integrate basic AI concepts such as AI awareness, digital productivity tools, ethical use of AI, and AI in the workplace into training sessions.
• Conduct interactive sessions using role plays, group discussions, case studies, and assessments.
• Assign, evaluate, and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.

Student Mobilization & Counseling

• Identify and map communities to reach needy and underprivileged youth for enrolment.
• Counsel students on career pathways, emerging job roles, and AI-influenced workplaces.
• Provide academic, motivational, and career counseling.

Employability & Placement Support

• Review student resumes and guide candidates on AI-relevant skills and digital profiles.
• Coach students for interviews, including AI-assisted interview preparation techniques.
• Conduct mock interviews and employability assessments.
• Groom students to be job-ready, aligned with current industry and AI-driven workplace expectations.
• Support placement activities and employer coordination.

Student Monitoring & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, learning outcomes, and student progress.
• Monitor individual development and provide structured feedback.

Additional Responsibilities

• Undertake additional responsibilities based on organizational and project requirements.

Qualifications-Graduate in any discipline

Experience

• 23 years of experience in soft skills / employability training

Skills & Competencies

• Professional training in Soft Skills, Behavioral Skills, and Attitude Development
• Working knowledge of AI concepts, AI tools (e.g., productivity AI, resume tools, interview practice tools), and their application in workplaces
• Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Proficient in English and Tamil.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations
• Experience in IT / ITES industry or AI-enabled environments preferred
