Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our Shivajinagar, Pune branch. The ideal candidate will inspire students, simplify complex concepts, and create an engaging classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects (History, Civics, Geography, Political Science, Economics) for classes 8th to 10th (SSC/CBSE/ICSE as applicable).
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and academic goals.
- Foster interactive, student-centered learning methods.
- Prepare, conduct, and evaluate tests, assignments, and exams.
- Provide individual guidance and doubt-solving sessions.
- Track student progress and share regular updates with parents and management.
- Contribute to academic planning, extra classes, and test series as required.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive learning atmosphere in class.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Arts (History, Political Science, Geography, or related discipline).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in Social Science (minimum 23 years preferred).
- Strong command over subject knowledge and ability to simplify concepts.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
