Sociotive is a digital marketing and creative agency working with brands in food, lifestyle, home dcor, education, and wellness. We create high-impact campaigns through reels, ads, and branded video content.

We are a start up and are building a core team, there is a lot of scope of growth however we are looking for experienced people not to teach.

Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who can create engaging, trend-driven content for social media and ads. You should be able to edit quickly, use AI tools for image and video generation, and stay up to date with current editing styles and music trends.

Looking for someone who knows Capcut.

Responsibilities

• Edit reels, ads, and branded content across different formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
• Use AI tools to create supporting visuals and enhance video edits.
• Add music, sound, text overlays, and transitions that match current trends.
• Work with the creative team to bring scripts and briefs to life.
• Deliver multiple edits on tight deadlines.
• Keep track of social media trends, trending audios, and editing styles.

Requirements

• Proven video editing experience (portfolio/reel required).
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for video/image generation.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual design.
• Awareness of Instagram, YouTube, and Meta ad formats.
• Ability to manage timelines and deliver consistent quality.

Good to Have

• Experience with D2C or lifestyle brands.
• Knowledge of basic motion graphics.
• Willingness to experiment with new editing tools and formats.
