Social Media Video Editor

Part-Time | Remote | India

We are looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Social Media Video Editor to join our team full-time.

You will create professional, engaging video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, paid advertisements, and other digital marketing campaigns.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands both professional video editing and what makes social media content perform.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form videos for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
• Create engaging hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
• Turn raw talking-head footage into polished social content
• Add B-roll, graphics, screenshots and visual elements
• Create professional animated captions
• Produce motion graphics and animated typography
• Edit social media advertisements
• Create product and software explainer videos
• Clean and enhance audio
• Perform professional color correction
• Resize and optimize videos for different platforms
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form videos
• Use AI tools to improve editing speed and production quality
• Maintain consistent branding across all content

REQUIRED Technical Skills

You should be highly proficient with:

Adobe Premiere Pro — Advanced

Adobe After Effects — Intermediate to Advanced

CapCut — Advanced

You should also have experience with:

• Motion graphics
• Animated typography
• Motion tracking
• Masking
• B-roll integration
• Audio cleanup and mixing
• Color correction
• Green screen/background removal
• Social media captions
• 9:16 vertical editing
• 16:9 horizontal editing
• Social media video compression and exporting
• AI-powered video editing tools

What We're Looking For

Technical editing ability is only part of the job.

You must understand how to make people STOP SCROLLING AND WATCH.

You should understand:

HOOK → PROBLEM → SOLUTION → PROOF → CALL TO ACTION

You should know how to use pacing, cuts, B-roll, captions, graphics, music and pattern interrupts to maintain viewer attention.

Portfolio Required

Skills Test

Final candidates may receive a short piece of raw footage and be asked to create a 30–45 second social media video.

Position

Location: Remote – India

Employment: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Compensation: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio
