Junior Strategist Social & Influencer Strategy

Location - DLF City 2, Gurgaon

Budget - 3 to 6 LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for a social mediasavvy Junior Strategist who understands internet culture, influencer ecosystems, and emerging digital trends. The ideal candidate should be someone who actively spends time on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and other emerging social channels, keeping track of trends, creators, and viral formats.

In this role, you will support the strategy team by identifying trends, tracking creator activity, and translating cultural insights into campaign ideas for brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging social platforms to identify trends, viral formats, and creator movements.
  • Track trending content, memes, and cultural conversations relevant to brands and campaigns.
  • Share regular trend updates and insights with the internal strategy and creative teams.
  • Support the team in developing influencer marketing and brand campaign ideas.
  • Assist in building strategy decks, campaign presentations, and research documents.
  • Conduct research on creators, influencers, and digital communities across categories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to bring trend-led campaign ideas to life.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) for research, trend spotting, and ideation is a plus.
  • Ability to understand how the same trend or format behaves differently across platforms, not just identify it in one place.
  • Habit of tracking brand and competitor activity on social, beyond just creators and influencers.

Requirements

  • 13 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, and influencer ecosystems.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into campaign opportunities.
  • Strong research, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with digital agencies, influencer marketing teams, or social media teams is a plus.
