A Social Media Strategist experienced in travel industrywho can develop strategies, create engaging travel content (reels, posts, stories) for platforms like Insta/FB/WhatsApp, runs paid ads for packages, manages communities (comments/DMs), collaborates with influencers/teams, and analyzes data to boost bookings for destinations, flights, or hotels, focusing on inspiring travel & driving leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop social media roadmaps, content calendars, and campaigns for tour packages, destinations, or hotel stays, aligning with marketing goals.
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing content (photos, videos, reels, graphics) showcasing India's unique travel experiences.
- Manage daily posts, respond to comments, DMs, and foster an active, positive community of travellers.
- Execute paid ads (Meta/Google) for lead generation (flights, holiday packages, visas) and manage organic promotions.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with travel influencers for destination launches or property promotions.
- Track KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions) using appropriate tools and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Work with sales, design, and marketing teams to support brand launches and events.
- Stay updated on social media trends, new features, and competitor activities.
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- 2+ year experience in Social Media Management or Digital Marketing.
- Certification in Social Media or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in social media management.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Cap Cut).
- Strong understanding of the travel market.
- Creativity, multitasking, and data analysis.
