Role Summary
The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and continuously optimizing the organization's social media strategy to strengthen brand positioning, employer branding, and overall business objectives. This role focuses on strategic planning, data-driven insights, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure impactful and consistent digital presence across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and govern the organization's end-to-end social media strategy across all relevant platforms
- Develop structured monthly and quarterly social media plans aligned with brand guidelines and business goals
- Conduct in-depth audience, market, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and strategic direction
- Establish content strategy, platform frameworks, and tone of voice in line with brand identity
- Conceptualize and lead social media campaigns in collaboration with internal teams, marketing, and external agencies
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze KPIs, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to brand, legal, and communication standards across all social media communications
- Evaluate emerging platforms, content formats, trends, and innovations to enhance digital impact
Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in Social Media Strategy, Digital Marketing, or a similar strategic role
- Strong expertise in social media planning, analytics, reporting, and performance optimization
- Proven ability to conceptualize campaigns and drive ideation through to execution
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, agencies, and creative stakeholders
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with a structured and insight-driven approach to decision-making
