At Gaze & Grow Media, we don't believe social media is just about posting, chasing trends, or trying to go viral for attention.
We believe social media is where a brand learns to speak clearly, consistently, and meaningfully.
We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who thinks beyond templates, captions, and content calendars. Someone who can understand a brand deeply, shape its communication, and manage its presence across multiple platforms with intention.
This role is for someone who can think like a brand strategist, communicate like a storyteller, and execute like someone who understands the responsibility of managing real brands.
You will be working across multiple client accounts, handling strategy, content planning, publishing, coordination, and platform-level execution.
This is not a role limited to Instagram and Facebook.
We are looking for someone who understands how different platforms behave - whether it is Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, X, or any other platform relevant to a brand's growth.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Understands social media as a brand-building tool, not just a posting platform.
- Can think visually and strategically at the same time.
- Has emotional depth and can understand the nuance behind a brand, a founder, a service, or a story.
- Knows how to turn ideas, thoughts, emotions, and observations into content directions.
- Can work closely with our designer and content writer to bring concepts to life.
- Understands storytelling - not just as a buzzword, but as a way to make people feel, remember, and connect.
- Doesn't blindly chase trends, but knows when a trend can be meaningfully adapted for a brand.
- Can manage multiple social media accounts with clarity, discipline, and ownership.
- Can handle posting, publishing, scheduling, and basic platform hygiene across different channels.
- Can build content calendars, campaign ideas, reel concepts, carousel structures, caption directions, and creative briefs.
Can study a brand and ask:
- What does this brand stand for
- What should people feel when they see it
- What should the content say without shouting
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple client social media accounts.
- Creating monthly content strategies and calendars.
- Planning content across different formats - reels, carousels, static posts, stories, shorts, community posts, and platform-specific content.
- Writing or guiding captions, hooks, post copy, and content directions.
- Coordinating with designers, writers, editors, and founders to execute content.
- Creating clear creative briefs for design and video teams.
- Handling posting, scheduling, publishing, and basic content hygiene.
- Ensuring every brand's feed, tone, and communication remain consistent.
- Studying competitors, category patterns, audience behavior, and platform trends.
- Understanding which platform is right for which brand, and why.
- Tracking basic content performance and using insights to improve future strategy.
- Supporting brand campaigns, founder-led content, and storytelling-led social media plans.
You'll Be a Good Fit If
- You consume content deeply, not passively.
- You notice why some brands feel premium, why some feel generic, and why some stay with people.
- You can balance emotion with structure.
- You enjoy writing, thinking, observing, and decoding human behavior.
- You are comfortable managing multiple accounts without losing attention to detail.
- You understand that each platform has its own language, audience, and rhythm.
- You can work with designers, writers, and founders to shape ideas into strong creative output.
- You care about the why behind content, not just the what.
- You can stay organized with calendars, deadlines, approvals, and publishing schedules.
This Role Is Not For Someone Who
- Only wants to copy trending reels.
- Thinks social media is just Canva posts and captions.
- Cannot explain the thinking behind an idea.
- Needs every brief to be spoon-fed.
- Prioritizes virality over brand consistency.
- Creates content that looks good but says nothing.
- Is uncomfortable managing multiple brands or platforms at once.
- Only understands Instagram and Facebook, but has no curiosity about other digital platforms.
What Matters To Us
- Original thinking.
- Taste.
- Curiosity.
- Emotional intelligence.
- Visual imagination.
- Strategic clarity.
- Platform understanding.
- Account ownership.
- The ability to build brands slowly, intentionally, and beautifully.
