Purple Phase is hiring a Social Media Strategist, Content Creator and Marketer who knows the game, sets the trends, and crafts engaging content across (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Location: Ahmedabad | Experience: 2+ years | Full-Time | On-site | Immediate Hiring
Responsibilities
1. Content Creation
- Create engaging short video content (reels) from concept and scripting to shoot and edit
- Be comfortable on camera appear in reels, capture people's bytes, and occasionally anchor small in-house events or ceremonies
- Write compelling copy that captures the brand voice and resonates with the audience.
- Come up with creative visual/conceptual ideas for campaigns and content
- Collaborate with designers and photographers/videographers to produce high-quality visuals
- Work with influencers to plan and execute high-quality influencer marketing campaigns
2. Content Planning
- Plan and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting across social platforms
- Track trends, platform updates, and industry news to sharpen content strategy
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Work with the strategy/marketing team to align social media with broader campaigns
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather content and ensure consistent messaging
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a social media role, ideally within an ad agency
- Strong understanding of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X), trends, and tools
- Ability to brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content (reels)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Hindi mandatory, Gujarati will be add-on)
- A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable reading basic analytics and using insights to improve performance
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for digital marketing
- Working knowledge of AI tools for content creation and optimisation
