Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and producing eye-catching graphics, illustrations, and visual content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas for social media campaigns, promotions, advertisements, and other marketing initiatives.
- Ensuring that all graphics adhere to the established brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms and campaigns.
- Tailoring designs to suit different social media platforms and their respective requirements while maintaining a cohesive brand image.
- Skillfully combining text and visuals to create captivating and legible designs, considering font selection, hierarchy, and overall composition.
- If proficient in animation, creating animated graphics, GIFs, short videos, or motion graphics to add dynamic elements to social media content.
- Staying updated with current design trends, social media best practices, and user behavior to create relevant and engaging visual content.
- Working closely with the content creators, marketing strategists, and other team members to ensure the visual elements align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Willingness to receive feedback and make iterative improvements to designs based on constructive criticism and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and formats.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and knowledge of relevant tools for animation/motion graphics (e. g. , After Effects).
- Understanding of various social media platforms and their design requirements.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
