Job Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing specialist to manage and grow our and client's brand presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning content, managing daily posts, engaging with audiences, and analysing performance to drive brand awareness, engagement, and leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Create content calendars for posts, stories, reels, and campaigns
  • Coordinate with designers for designing social media posts
  • Write engaging captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action
  • Monitor comments, messages, and reviews; respond in a timely manner
  • Run and optimise paid social media campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Track analytics and prepare monthly performance reports
  • Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Collaborate with marketing and SEO teams for integrated campaigns

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • 34 years of experience in social media management (agency)
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends
  • Experience with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, etc.)
  • Understanding of paid ads and campaign optimisation
  • Excellent written communication and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to analyse data and optimise content based on performance

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools
  • Video editing or reel creation knowledge
  • Influencer marketing or community management experience
  • Knowledge of brand storytelling and performance marketing

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in followers and reach
  • Engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, saves)
  • Lead generation and conversions (if applicable)
  • Campaign performance and ROI
