This role is responsible for planning and executing the brand's social media content across platforms. You will work closely with the design and marketing team to ensure content is well-planned, visually aligned and consistently executed. This is a dual role you will be involved in both content planning and day-to-day execution, while coordinating with designers for creative output.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning
- Plan and maintain a monthly social media calendar aligned with brand goals
- Develop content ideas, captions and post directions
- Ensure a balanced mix of product, storytelling, engagement and campaign content
Execution & Publishing
- Manage day-to-day posting across platforms (Instagram, etc.)
- Coordinate with the Creator Collaborations Team and Performance marketing team on content as well as analytics to further streamline and improvise
- Write and publish captions, reels, stories and basic content formats
- Shoot and create raw content alongside coordinating with teams for external photoshoots etc
- Ensure content is posted on time and follows the planned calendar
Design Coordination
- Work closely with the designer to brief and execute creatives
- Share clear content directions, references and feedback
- Ensure final output matches the brand's visual language
Basic Design Support
- Create quick turnaround creatives using Canva when required
- Support with simple edits, resizing and content adaptations
Performance & Optimisation
- Track basic content performance and engagement metrics
- Identify what's working and suggest improvements to content direction
Must Have
- 34 years of experience in social media or content roles
- Experience working with D2C or digital-first brands
- Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form content
- Good writing skills for captions and content ideation
- Working knowledge of Canva (or similar tools)
- Ability to coordinate with designers and manage timelines
Nice to Have
- Amazing understanding of design principles (layouts, typography, visual hierarchy)
- Experience working on content calendars and campaign planning
- Familiarity with reels/video content formats
