Job Description:

We're looking for a passionate and data-driven Social Media Manager to develop and execute engaging social media strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate to have an understanding of the financial markets, a strong grasp of social media trends, and a proven track record of creating compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging social media platforms.
  • Analyse competitor social media activity and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Content Creation & Curation:
  • Create engaging and informative content, including text posts, images, videos, infographics, and live streams.
  • Curate relevant financial news, market analysis, and educational resources.
  • Stay on top of social/market trends, memes, and finance-related news.
  • Develop content that caters to different investor profiles, from beginners to experienced traders.
  • Community Management & Engagement:
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms.
  • Build and nurture a vibrant online community, fostering meaningful interactions and discussions.
  • Run social media contests, polls, and Q&A sessions to boost engagement.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), such as reach, engagement, website traffic etc..
  • Generate regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment and identify emerging trends.
  • A/B test content and strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Platform Management:
  • Manage and optimize all company social media accounts (e.g., X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Stay up-to-date on platform-specific features and best practices.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of social media efforts.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and influencers for amplification and content strategy for Social Media.
  • Contribute to the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Compliance:
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations and advertising guidelines.
  • Work with the compliance department to ensure all social media content is accurate and compliant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications..
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of the stock market, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and effective social media content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
