The Social Media Lead/Manager will be responsible for owning, shaping, and executing LambdaTest's end-to-end social media strategy. This role requires a creative storyteller, a data-driven marketer, and someone who deeply understands developer-focused communities, SaaS branding, and content trends.
You will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of LambdaTest's social channels, drive engagement, build brand awareness, and partner with cross-functional teams to highlight product value, thought leadership, and brand narrative.
Strategy And Ownership
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
- Develop and own the global social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, GitHub, and community forums.
- Build a strong brand narrative aligned with LambdaTest's positioning, GTM priorities, and developer ecosystem.
- Plan and execute monthly/quarterly social media calendars.
Content Creation And Storytelling
- Conceptualize and create engaging, platform-native content, including videos, reels, carousels, threads, memes, developer-focused content, and brand campaigns.
- Work with internal design, product, and content teams to bring stories to life.
- Promote product releases, customer stories, events, partnerships, and culture-first content.
Community Engagement And Growth
- Drive conversations with developers, testers, and influencers across communities.
- Build and manage relationships with creators, tech influencers, and industry thought leaders.
- Monitor trends and participate in relevant discussions proactively.
Analytics And Reporting
- Track KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, sentiment, traffic, and conversions.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and maintain monthly performance dashboards.
- Optimize strategy based on analytics and audience insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Growth, HR/People Team (for employer branding), and Events teams to amplify campaigns.
- Support GTM launches, webinars, hackathons, and community initiatives through impactful social media amplification.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of social media management experience in SaaS, tech, or developer-focused brands.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2D social media dynamics.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Hands-on experience creating content (copy, short videos, reels, carousels).
- Proven experience in community engagement and building organic social media presence.
- Data-driven approach with expertise in analytics tools.
Good-to-Have
- Experience working with global audiences (US, EU, APAC).
- Basic knowledge of the dev/testing ecosystem is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with influencers/creators.
- Understanding of paid social (optional).
