Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms on a full-time basis in a remote work setting. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with social media campaign execution, drafting posts, designing basic visual content, and scheduling updates to maintain consistent online presence. The intern will help monitor engagement, track performance metrics, and prepare reports to optimize content and campaigns. Additional responsibilities may involve collaborating with the digital marketing team, conducting competitor and audience research, and contributing ideas for improving social media strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaign planning and execution.
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging posts aligned with brand goals.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear, professional interaction and effective messaging across platforms.
- Basic understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and current social media trends.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and techniques in digital marketing.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (such as platform insights or Google Analytics) is a plus.
