Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support HarvTech's online presence by assisting with planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, designing basic visuals or coordinating creative assets, scheduling campaigns, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments under guidance from senior team members. The intern will help track social media performance, conduct competitor and trend research, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with brand goals. This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement based in Chennai, where some work-from-home flexibility is available. The position offers hands-on experience in social media, digital marketing, and brand communication within a fast-evolving agri-tech environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing to support campaigns, basic analytics, and brand awareness initiatives.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and an understanding of audience engagement.
• Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, basic analytics dashboards) and image/video editing tools is beneficial.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, and show initiative in learning new digital trends is expected.
• Interest in agriculture, sustainability, or technology and a willingness to learn about HarvTech's products and industry are advantageous.
