We are a fast-growing ethnicwear brand with a strong presence in Kolkata, known for our contemporary take on traditional fashion. We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes Instagram, loves working with influencers, and wants to gain real-world experience in fashion and digital marketing.
Role Overview
As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our marketing agency to manage and grow our Instagram presence, with a special focus on building and maintaining a pipeline of collaborations with famous local influencers. This role combines creativity, relationship-building, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with our agency to plan and execute Instagram content strategies.
- Research, identify, and reach out to local influencers and creators relevant to our brand.
- Build and maintain a structured influencer collaboration pipelinefrom first contact to final campaign.
- Track influencer performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions).
- Assist in day-to-day page managementposting stories, engaging with comments, and responding to DMs.
- Stay updated on Instagram trends, formats, and viral opportunities that can be leveraged for brand growth.
- Provide weekly reports and insights on influencer activity and Instagram performance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest in social media marketing and influencer culture.
- Basic understanding of Instagram content formats (Reels, Stories, Carousels).
- Good communication skillsboth written and verbal.
- Organized and proactive in following up with influencers and agencies.
- A creative eye for content and willingness to contribute fresh ideas.
- Prior experience in influencer outreach/marketing (preferred but not mandatory).
Work Mode & Compensation
- Hybrid role: Up to 3 days a week in-office (Kolkata-based).
- Paid internship (stipend to be disclosed during interviews).
- Internship certificate & letter of recommendation on successful completion.
