Social Media Marketing Intern

Ember Foundry is a market intelligence and strategy company working with promoters, leadership teams, and brands across growth, expansion, customer behaviour, and competitive positioning.

We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who can think strategically, create strong content, and execute end to end across platforms.

This is not a passive internship. You will be actively building the voice and visibility of Ember across Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube. If this moves well, we shall give you another brand to work on with its perks!

If you're also a content creator yourself, that's a huge plus.

What You Will Do

• Plan and execute social media strategy across platforms

• Design and create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube

• Write copy for posts, carousels, reels, ads, captions, and campaigns

• Create and edit reels and short form video content (there are people to help you)

• Help conceptualise content from real business, marketing, and consumer insights, specially reports

• Schedule and manage content calendars

• Identify trends, founder conversations, and internet discourse worth reacting to

• Work on growth, engagement, and audience building

• Contribute ideas that make Ember sharper, more visible, and more culturally relevant

• Work on ads

We're Looking for Someone who

• Understands internet culture and attention deeply

• Can write strong copy and hooks

• Has a good eye for design, storytelling, and pacing

• Understands founders, brands, startups, and consumer behaviour

• Can independently execute, not just assist

• Thinks strategically, not just aesthetically

• Is curious, proactive, and fast moving

Tools

Experience with tools like:

• Canva

• CapCut

• Figma

• Premiere Pro / Final Cut / similar editing tools

is preferred.

Stipend: 12k/month

Hours: 10:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday

Thursdays are WFH
