Role Overview

Cyboard School is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Intern for a six-month on-site internship. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, brand building, and social media management within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts, reels, and stories across social media platforms
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action aligned with the brand's tone and guidelines
  • Manage comments and direct messages, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce high-quality content
  • Assist in developing and maintaining monthly content calendars
  • Monitor social media trends and proactively suggest innovative content ideas
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Posting Consistency: Minimum of 56 posts per week
  • Engagement Rate: Growth in likes, comments, shares, and saves
  • Follower Growth: Weekly and monthly increase in followers
  • Reels Performance: Reach, views, and watch time
  • Community Management: Response to comments and DMs within 24 hours
  • Content Quality: Zero spelling errors and strict adherence to brand guidelines
  • Reporting: Timely submission of weekly and monthly performance reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
  • Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, and branding
  • Working knowledge of tools like Canva (preferred)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt to new content formats
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow content plans effectively
