About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager who understands how conversations
evolve on social platforms and can position the organisation within those conversations.
This role requires someone who spends time observing trends, understanding how people
engage online, and turning those insights into content, comments, and conversations that
represent the organisation well.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing day-to-day social media activities while
also contributing ideas for content and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage and maintain the organisation's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and
Twitter (X).
Publish content regularly across platforms in alignment with the content calendar.
Monitor comments, messages, and discussions and respond on behalf of the
organisation in a timely and professional manner.
Engage with relevant posts, communities, and industry conversations to increase
visibility.
Content Creation & Publishing
Ideate, draft, and publish posts that reflect current trends and discussions on social
platforms.
Convert observations from social media trends into engaging content formats such
as posts, threads, and short updates.
Work with internal teams to transform company insights, projects, or updates into
social media content.
Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with the organisation's voice.
Trend Monitoring & Platform Understanding
Regularly monitor LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter to understand trending formats,
conversations, and audience behaviour.
Identify opportunities to position the organisation within relevant discussions.
Suggest content ideas based on platform trends and industry developments.
Community Engagement
Respond to comments and questions from followers in a witty, thoughtful, and
professional tone.
Maintain active conversations with the audience to strengthen engagement.
Represent the organisation positively through all interactions.
Execution & Coordination
Prepare and schedule content across platforms.
Coordinate with the team to ensure posts are reviewed before publishing where
required.
Track engagement metrics and provide simple insights on what content performs
well.
Required Skills & Qualifications
02 years of experience managing social media accounts or working in social
media marketing.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter (X) platforms.
Excellent written English communication skills.
Ability to write engaging and clear social media content.
Comfortable participating in online conversations and replying to comments on
behalf of an organisation.
Ability to observe trends and convert them into relevant content ideas.
Good multitasking and organisational skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Existing audience or network within the technology ecosystem.
Experience creating content related to technology, AI, or digital products.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools or scheduling platforms.
