Social Media Manager

VLR is looking for a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing to join our team in Chennai. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, enjoys creating content, and is interested in building brands across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Develop content ideas, captions, reel concepts, and short-form scripts
• Research current trends, competitors, and content opportunities
• Support the preparation of monthly content calendars and campaign plans
• Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and other creative team members
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
• Participate in client shoots and content production
• Monitor basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and content performance
• Support client communication and understand brand requirements

Requirements

• Fresher or candidate with relevant internship/project experience
• Strong interest in social media, branding, and content creation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and contribute fresh content ideas
• Good understanding of Instagram, Reels, and current social media trends
• Comfortable creating and communicating content in English and Tamil
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with a creative team
• Willingness to attend shoots, meetings, and on-site requirements in Chennai
