Position Summary

We're seeking aSocial Media Managerwho understands the wellness and aesthetic industries, can create engaging and visually appealing content, and lead a content creation team. This role will manage both VeCura Wellness (mass premium) and ReSculpt (ultra-premium) brands across all social platforms.

Reporting to: Owner

Team Size: 2-4 content creators, designers, videographers

Location: Chennai (with travel to Hyderabad if needed)

Experience: 3-5 years in social media management, preferably healthcare/wellness/beauty

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for both brands
  • Create monthly content calendars aligned with business objectives (lead generation, brand building, education)
  • Identify trending topics, formats, and opportunities in the wellness/aesthetic space
  • Plan seasonal campaigns (wedding season, summer body, post-pregnancy, New Year transformations)
  • Differentiate the content strategy between VeCura (accessible wellness) and ReSculpt (luxury aesthetic)
  • Coordinate with clinical teams for treatment launches, new technology rollouts

2. Content Creation (40%)

  • Video Content: Client transformation stories and testimonials
  • Treatment walkthroughs and educational content
  • Doctor/expert interviews and Q&A sessions
  • Behind-the-scenes clinic operations
  • Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style content for maximum engagement
  • Static Content: Before/after transformations (tastefully executed)
  • Educational infographics (body science, treatment benefits)
  • Technology showcases (CoolSculpting, Tesla Former, etc.)
  • Client success stories and testimonials
  • Promotional graphics for offers and packages
  • Written Content: Engaging captions with strong hooks
  • Educational long-form posts
  • Client stories and case studies
  • FAQ content addressing common misconceptions
  • Blog posts for website (SEO-driven)

3. Team leadership and management:

  • Lead and mentor content creation team (designers, videographers, copywriters)
  • Assign projects and manage workflow/deadlines
  • Conduct creative briefings and feedback sessions
  • Build SOPs for content creation, approval workflows, brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to source client stories and testimonials
  • Coordinate with external agencies/freelancers as needed

4. Community :

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, reviews across all platforms
  • Engage with followers, build community, foster conversations
  • Handle customer inquiries and route to appropriate teams
  • Manage influencer collaborations and partnerships
  • Track competitor activity and industry trends

5. Analytics and Optimization:

  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, lead quality)
  • Conduct A/B testing on content formats, hooks, CTAs
  • Provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations
  • Optimize content based on performance data
  • Monitor ROI on paid social campaigns (in coordination with the digital and finance team)

Required must have skills:

Content Creation Expertise:

  • Proven ability to create viral/high-engagement content (share portfolio)
  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut)
  • Graphic design proficiency (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Mobile-first content mindset (Reels, Stories, Shorts)
  • Understanding of platform algorithms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)

Strategic Thinking:

  • 3-5 years managing social media for brands (preferably healthcare/wellness/beauty)
  • Experience with both organic and paid social strategies
  • Understanding of sales funnels and customer journey
  • Data-driven decision making

Communication:

  • Excellent copywriting skills in English (Tamil is a bonus)
  • Ability to simplify complex medical/scientific concepts
  • Strong storytelling abilities
  • Professional communication with clients for testimonials

Leadership:

  • Experience managing creative teams
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to give constructive feedback
  • Collaborative mindset with clinical/sales teams
