Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

TukTuki is looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes digital storytelling, understands platform algorithms, and can build a loyal, high-engagement community around India's fastest-growing micro-drama ecosystem. This role will own TukTuki's presence across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, and short-form platforms, driving content visibility, creator amplification, and brand-led community engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Social Media Strategy & Content Execution

➢Plan and execute daily/weekly social media calendars across multiple platforms.

➢Ideate and produce content aligned to TukTuki's micro-drama and storytelling formats.

➢Ensure consistent brand identity, tone, and creative standards across all channels.

2. Platform Management & Daily Posting

➢Manage posting schedules using Meta Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar tools.

➢Optimise content performance through timing, format improvements, and analytics insights.

3. Creator & IP Promotion

➢Collaborate with Creator Partnerships team to highlight creators, IPs, and episodic campaigns.

➢Help creators with best practices for amplification and engagement.

4. Community Engagement

➢Engage with comments, DMs, tags, and fan communities to build affinity.

➢Design engagement-first formats (polls, Q&As, fan shoutouts, stories, reactions).

5. Growth & Performance Tracking

➢Measure KPIs: reach, engagement, CTR, views, retention, shares.

➢Identify winning content formats and iterate based on trends and performance.

6. Trendspotting & Rapid Content Creation

➢Track daily viral trends, memes, sounds, and content patterns.

➢Adapt trends quickly into TukTuki's brand and creator ecosystem.

7. Cross-Team Collaboration

➢Work alongside Creator, Content, and Growth teams for content planning.

➢Coordinate with design/video teams to turn raw ideas into polished digital assets.

Must-Have

➢2–5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, creator, or entertainment platform.

➢Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook algorithms and content behavior.

➢Ability to produce reels, short edits, memes, and basic video content independently.

➢Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and creative thinking.

➢Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Meta insights, YouTube Studio, third-party dashboards).

Good to Have

➢Prior experience in creator economy, content agencies, or short-video platforms.

➢Understanding of meme culture, fandoms, regional content trends.

➢Editing skills (CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Canva).
