Responsibilities
- Lead and execute social media strategies for government, political, and public-sector clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, presentations, and reviews
- Translate political, policy, and governance objectives into compelling digital narratives
- Oversee content calendars and platform-wise execution (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage, mentor, and guide social media managers, content teams, and designers
- Monitor political discourse, news cycles, and public sentiment in real time
- Leverage analytics and social listening tools to track performance and optimize campaigns
- Collaborate with PR, research, design, and video teams for integrated campaigns
- Manage crisis communication and rapid-response digital strategies
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in social media or digital communications
- Agency experience handling multiple clients is preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Indian politics, governance systems, and public policy
- Proven experience working with government bodies, ministries, political leaders, or policy institutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Hindi proficiency is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with social media management, analytics, and listening tools
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest digital platforms, AI tools, algorithms, and trends
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities
