About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Expert at a Team Lead level to drive and manage high-impact digital mandates, particularly for government and political clients. The role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, hands-on execution, and excellent client interfacing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute social media strategies for government, political, and public-sector clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, presentations, and reviews
  • Translate political, policy, and governance objectives into compelling digital narratives
  • Oversee content calendars and platform-wise execution (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Manage, mentor, and guide social media managers, content teams, and designers
  • Monitor political discourse, news cycles, and public sentiment in real time
  • Leverage analytics and social listening tools to track performance and optimize campaigns
  • Collaborate with PR, research, design, and video teams for integrated campaigns
  • Manage crisis communication and rapid-response digital strategies

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in social media or digital communications
  • Agency experience handling multiple clients is preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Indian politics, governance systems, and public policy
  • Proven experience working with government bodies, ministries, political leaders, or policy institutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Hindi proficiency is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with social media management, analytics, and listening tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest digital platforms, AI tools, algorithms, and trends
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities
