We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own end-to-end social for three fast-moving D2C brands — Funda, Speakeasy, and Postly. This is not a scheduling job. This is a creator's job. You'll live inside Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X every day, spot trends before they peak, and turn them into content that actually moves the needle — reach, saves, shares, and eventually installs and revenue.
You should already be running your own handle (any niche, any size — what matters is that you get the game). If you can't point to content you've personally made go viral, this role isn't for you.
What You'll OwnStrategy & Calendar. Build the monthly content strategy for all three brands — distinct tone, audience, and hook library for each. Own the calendar, the posting cadence, and the pivot calls when something isn't working.
Ideation & Scripting. Come up with 15–20 reel ideas per brand per week. Write the hooks. Break down trending formats (GLP-1 explainers, English-learning skits, craft tutorials, founder POVs) and adapt them before they saturate. You should be the person in the room who says this hook will die in 4 days, here's what's next.
Production. Shoot, direct, and edit reels yourself when needed. Brief and manage external creators, editors, and talent for the rest. You don't need to be a cinematographer, but you need to know what makes a reel watchable in the first 3 seconds.
Publishing & Community. Post everything. Reply to every comment and DM in the first hour. Build the voice of each brand in the replies — that's where loyalty compounds.
Performance. Own the dashboard. Know watch-time, retention curve, non-follower reach %, save rate, DM share rate for every post. Kill what doesn't work in week 2, not month 2.
Growth Experiments. Run collabs, giveaways, creator partnerships, boosted post tests, and trend-jacking plays. Bring ideas; don't wait to be told.
