Rajalakshmi Engineering College, established in 1997 under the Rajalakshmi Educational Trust, is an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. With over 20 years of experience, the college has earned a strong reputation for excellence in engineering education, research, and development. Originally offering three undergraduate programs, it has expanded to 12 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate programs, accommodating a total of 1,950 students annually. Recognized by the AICTE and Anna University, the college hosts nine departments serving as research centers, supporting Ph.D. and M.S. research programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies, creating and curating engaging content across platforms, optimizing profiles, monitoring online presence, and fostering audience engagement. The role also involves analyzing metrics to improve performance and collaborating with various departments to align social media activities with institutional goals.

• Expertise in Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and creating strategies to grow and engage audiences.
• Strong Communication and Writing skills for producing impactful, engaging content and liaising with stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective Content Strategies.
• Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and trends to optimize digital campaigns.
• Proficiency in using social media tools, platforms, and analytics software.
• Adaptability, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field are preferred.
