Role Description

We're looking for a strategic and execution-driven Social Media Manager who can own our digital presence end-to-end.

From content strategy and performance creatives to influencer collaborations and community growth you will shape how Not Rocket Science shows up online and how it converts attention into engagement and sales.

You should be comfortable balancing creativity, performance metrics, and creator partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a platform-first social media strategy aligned with brand and revenue goals
  • Build structured monthly content roadmaps across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Conceptualize high-performing reels, short-form videos, and ad creatives
  • Write compelling hooks, captions, scripts, and storytelling formats optimized for conversions
  • Collaborate with performance marketing to test, analyze, and scale winning creatives
  • Track and optimize key metrics including engagement rate, CTR, ROAS, reach, and follower growth
  • Identify trends early and adapt them strategically for the brand

Influencer & Creator Management

  • Identify, curate, and onboard relevant influencers aligned with brand positioning
  • Plan and execute influencer campaigns (UGC, barter, paid collaborations, performance-driven partnerships)
  • Brief creators effectively to ensure strong brand alignment
  • Manage communication, timelines, deliverables, and usage rights
  • Track influencer campaign performance and optimise future collaborations

Community & Brand Presence

  • Manage DMs, comments, and audience interactions
  • Maintain strong brand voice and consistency across platforms
  • Monitor competitor strategies and evolving content formats

Skills & Requirements

  • 36 years of experience in social media strategy or digital content roles
  • Proven experience working with influencers and managing creator collaborations
  • Strong understanding of performance-driven content in D2C brands
  • Hands-on experience with Instagram and short-form video platforms
  • Ability to blend brand storytelling with measurable growth outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting platform insights
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong ownership and execution skills
