Organization Description: Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art form.

The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.

The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.

As the Social Media Marketing Manager (SMMM) at Jaipur Rugs, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering all social media activities on various social media campaigns. In this highly visible role, a successful hire will own social media and will be directly accountable for various social media outreach.

The Social Media Manager will implement Jaipur Rugs Social Media Strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption. This role coordinates with the internal Marketing and PR teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network.

As the Social Media Marketing Manager (SMMM) at Jaipur Rugs, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering all social media activities on various social media campaigns. As the Social Media Marketing Manager at Jaipur Rugs, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the social media marketing strategy for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and Instagram etc.
  • Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, doing the heavy lifting, etc.).
  • Communicating in a professional, but unique social media voice; directly aligned with the company's thought leadership and content platform.
  • Creating social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive target audience to corporate sites and generate leads for our customers.
  • Spending hours on LinkedIn every day engaging with our clients target audiences by sharing content, finding ways to grow LinkedIn company followership, and improve overall engagement with our clients LinkedIn Company Pages.
  • Staying ahead of the curve in leveraging LinkedIn as a professional social media network and as a content hub, such as leveraging LinkedIn Signal to understand influential content that is shared and the people who are sharing them.
  • Tweeting daily while engaging influencers to increase the followership of our clients social media profiles; receiving multiple mentions and retweets in the process.
  • Posting several Facebook posts each day and finding new ways to leverage Facebook for professional and business purposes.
  • Building a strong presence on Google+ for each client, making the most of SEO tricks to help our clients get ahead.
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies on client competitors, including digital footprint analysis.
  • Plan and execute creative and engaging Facebook campaigns to promote the company, products and the founder.

Desired Background:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required.
  • Must have empathy, love and compassion as integral part of his/her self - then only the person will be able to lead the presented portfolio in its entirety.
  • A firm believer and practitioner of organizational philosophy, values and culture so as to imbibe that in his/her day-to-day interaction with the customers
