Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager based in Bengaluru The Social Media Manager will supervise the creation and execution of social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement online. Responsibilities include curating engaging content, implementing social media marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing social media presence. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media strategies with broader business goals.
Responsibilities
- Build, stage, and launch engaging digital, social media campaigns/strategy with clear KPI and result
- Write detailed briefs and work cross-functionally & agencies to deliver compelling digital/social media campaigns and promotions.
- Managing global digital/social media content adaptation and localisation for the India Market including all content localisation on digital platforms/media. This includes checking/implementing changes to Hindi Translations provided by our localisation agencies
- Oversee asset direction, development, and approval processes with internal and external partners.
- Keep a pulse on the digital, social landscape by tracking trends, digital/social platforms, campaigns, and content (with a special focus on short-form video development), KOL.
- Recommend innovative ways to reach new and existing players on digital platforms or social media.
- Develop comprehensive reports to surface organic campaign performance and share recommendations based on the findings.
- Identify relevant insights from digital or social performance and community conversations to help drive innovation, including exploring potential new digital/social platforms to serve our goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
Qualifications
- 4+years of relevant digital, social media experience, including experience with recent digital/social platform trends and their features (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, etc).
- Thinks creatively, and loves innovating while follow through process
- Undeterred by quick turnaround times, multi step approval processes, and trying new things.
- Written and Spoken Proficiency in Hindi.
- Detail driven, communicative, self-motivated and a collaborative teammate
- Keep up to date with digital and social media industry trends.
- Experience using Sprouts or other related content management/publishing/tracking tools, reporting pools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
- Experience using different editing tools for quick video/photo editing on social channels
- Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
