Job Summary

Elance Learning is seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media ecosystems, content strategy, and audience engagement, while also excelling in team management and data-driven decision-making. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand

visibility, generating leads, and engaging with our target audience in meaningful ways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management:

Manage and oversee all official Elance social media accounts, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

  • Team Supervision:

Lead and coordinate the social media content team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, relevant, and brand-aligned content.

  • Performance Analysis:

Monitor, analyze, and report weekly performance metrics across platforms; use insights to optimize strategies and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Strategy Development:

Develop and execute innovative strategies to grow audiences, enhance engagement, and drive lead generation through social media channels.

  • Trend Monitoring:

Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging digital tools to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with design, video production, and performance marketing teams to create compelling and effective creatives.

  • Shoot Coordination:

Organize and manage content shoots, including scheduling, coordinating with cast and crew, and ensuring all content requirements are met.

  • SEO Integration:

Maintain a working knowledge of SEO and incorporate best practices into social content and linked web assets.

  • Video Content Oversight:

Oversee the planning, scripting, and execution of video-based content, ensuring alignment with brand tone and presentation quality.

  • Workflow Management:

Supervise internal workflows, enforce timelines, and ensure efficient project execution within set deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
  • Proven track record of audience growth and engagement across platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, Canva/Photoshop, and video production workflows is a plus
