  • We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can independently handle brand accounts, drive brand-building initiatives, and create innovative promotional ideas that go beyond routine posting.

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing brand social media accounts end-to-end, from strategy and content planning to execution and performance analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of brand positioning, audience behavior, and creative promotion formats.

This is a brand-focused and innovation-driven role, not a basic posting or scheduling position.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Translate brand identity, tone, and values into platform-specific content.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, visual language, and messaging across platforms.
  • Build long-term brand equity, not just short-term engagement.

Content Planning & Execution

  • Own monthly and quarterly content calendars for assigned brands.
  • Conceptualize and plan high-impact content formats, campaigns, and series.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video teams to produce quality content.
  • Oversee publishing schedules and ensure timely execution.

Innovative Promotion & Campaign Ideation

  • Create innovative promotional ideas for launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand moments.
  • Develop interactive content such as challenges, contests, collaborations, and trend-based formats.
  • Identify new platform features, formats, and trends to experiment with early.
  • Work with influencer and performance teams for integrated campaigns when required.

Account & Client Management

  • Independently manage multiple brand accounts.
  • Present strategies, content plans, and performance insights to clients.
  • Incorporate client feedback while protecting brand integrity and strategy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for social media execution-related matters.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor engagement, reach, growth, and content performance.
  • Analyze insights and optimize content strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with clear learnings and next steps.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams including design, content, SEO, and influencer marketing.
  • Guide junior team members or executives where applicable.
  • Ensure smooth execution across teams without delays or quality issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies.
  • Proven experience in brand building through social platforms.
  • Strong creative thinking and campaign ideation skills.
  • Deep understanding of platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging formats.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple brand accounts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with content calendars, briefs, and performance reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling mid to large-scale brands.
  • Background in creative or digital agencies.
  • Exposure to influencer collaborations and integrated campaigns.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
