Social Media Manager
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (On-site, Marathahalli)
Company:Agriplast Protected Cultivation Pvt. Ltd.
Overview
Agriplast Protected Cultivation Pvt. Ltd. is India's leading hi-tech protected cultivation and agriculture solutions provider. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to design and execute content strategies that will scale our brand presence across digital platforms.
This is a hands-on role - you will ideate, write, and execute strategies end-to-end. While larger creative requirements can be supported through external agencies, the role requires the ability to independently create basic, quick-turn designs or edits when needed. We are seeking someone with a proven track record of growing brands online, who combines creativity with analytical thinking and takes full ownership of our social presence.
Given the technical and specialised nature of our industry, a background in agriculture or agri-tech is mandatory. You will be communicating with growers, agronomists, and industry professionals - understanding their world is not optional, it is the foundation of doing this job well.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement clear, structured content strategies aligned with Agriplast's brand goals, campaigns, and timelines - with a strong grasp of the agricultural contexts, seasonal cycles, and grower challenges that shape our audience's needs.
Hands-on Content Creation: Draft compelling captions, headlines, and scripts; adapt tone and messaging for each platform. Translate complex agri-tech concepts like protected cultivation, greenhouse structures, drip irrigation, and crop cycles into accessible, engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Platform Management: Manage and scale social media pages across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X; ensure consistent, high-quality content tailored to each platform and relevant to the agri and agri-business community.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and report key metrics (follower growth, engagement rate, reach, leads generated); share insights and recommendations to continuously improve performance.
Community Engagement: Respond to queries, manage conversations, and build a professional, brand-aligned community that fosters trust and credibility among farmers, distributors, agri-professionals, and institutional stakeholders.
System Building: Establish and improve workflows for content planning, approvals, scheduling, and agency coordination to drive efficiency and consistency.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal agronomists, product, and sales teams, and coordinate with external creative partners to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.
